Coping with stress? Who isn’t? Come and learn some practical tools for regulating your mind and body as well as building your capacity to show up for life with more ease and embodiment. Neuro-Somatic Intelligence is a modality that excels at getting the mind and body back onto the same page so they can work together.
In this workshop we are going to learn some short, practical tools for getting your nervous system back online when you are feeling blocked or you can feel yourself in a triggered state or an old cycle. We are also going to go over some basic concepts about how and why these triggers and cycles happen and what you can do in order to start to create long-term change to stabilize your nervous system and expand your overall capacity for physical, emotional and social challenges as well as everyday quality of life.
The tools we will go over are simple, physically easy exercises that can be done almost anywhere. They are designed to target specific areas that often play a role in contributing to the way we hold onto stress and trauma in the body; such as respiration, the surface of the skin and the vagus nerve.
